In accordance with Section 103.D.1 of Regulation 61-122, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control has revised the licensing regulations for in-home care providers. As a part of the application, in-home care providers must provide evidence of liability insurance or a surety bond in accordance with Section 103.D.1 of Regulation 61-122, Standards for Licensing In-Home Care Providers. If liability insurance is not available, a surety bond must be submitted in its place.
